Kale Chips

Kale is a cruciferous vegetable, similar to brussel sprouts and broccoli.  With this easy recipe kale chips can be a healthy alternative to potato or corn chips.  They are packed with nutrients and low in calories and sodium.

 

 

Crispy Kale Chips

Ingredients:

1 head kale, washed and dried

olive oil

sea salt

pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 275

Cut kale into bite size pieces, removing the thick stems.  Spread out on a baking sheet.  Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, and pepper.  Toss together then bake for about 20 minutes, turning kale halfway through.
